Thank you for shopping our website for your quilting needs at!  To shop online, choose a department to browse in or search by keyword for products.  Then add individual items to your shopping cart.  You can view your cart or check out anytime you like.  You may even save your cart as a wish list for future shopping!
Step One:  Product Selection
Take your time to browse our wide selection of products.  Click the "add to cart" button to add the product selected at the desired quantity to your shopping basket.  If you need additional assistance in locating a specific product, additional search guidelines can be found in "Search for Products".

Minimum Orders.
Our products have a set amount that can be ordered.  You may order more than the set amount depending on the product you are ordering.  Minimum order for fabric yardage is one-half yard.

Step Two:  Initiate Checkout Process
When you are ready to complete your order, click the "view cart" button.
Step Three:  Review Order Summary
Review the items you have ordered in your shopping cart. 

• If you find you would like to change the quantity of a specific product you ordered, change the number in the quantity field and then click "Update Cart". 
• If you would like to apply a Special Product Promotion or Coupon that is currently available to your order, enter the promotion code to the Promotion Code field and click "Apply".  Codes must be entered exactly as they are caps sensitive.
• To store an item to your "Wish List" to be purchased at a later time, click "Save Cart" (Wish List).
• To remove an item from your order, check the box area under "Remove" and then click "Update Cart".

Click "Checkout" at the bottom of the page to continue with the checkout process.

Step Four:  Create an Account, Billing and Shipping Information
The first time you make a purchase with Bound in Stitches, you may Create an Account.  Bound in Stitches offers two Checkout options. 
• Express Checkout is where no account is needed and you are able to checkout with a single quick and easy form. 
• Create an Account is a convenient option that saves your billing and shipping information for future purchases.  Creating an Account allows you to track your order, manage your wish list, and many other benefits. 
You will need to either confirm or enter the required billing and shipping information.  At Bound in Stitches, we take pride in offering you superior customer service and efficient order fulfillment. 

Orders are processed within 48 business hours of order placement.  We ship domestically (including Alaska and Hawaii) using UPS and the US Postal Service (USPS) and internationally using the USPS International Priority Mail.  Please Note:  We are not responsible for the receipt of international shipping.  If a customer wants tracking or insurance, they need to request it from us and will be billed at the applicable rate.  If tracking or insurance is purchased and the package is not received we will assist in the tracking request but we will not be responsible for the receipt of the package.

Any customs, duties or taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

Once you have entered the required information, press "Continue" to review your order prior to entering your credit card details.    
Step Five:  Payment Information
The payment information screen summarizes your order.  If you have a Bound in Stitches Gift Certificate that you would like to apply, enter the Gift Certification Number into the appropriate field and click "Apply".    At the bottom of the page enter your credit card information and click "Complete Order."

You will receive an email confirmation message that summarizes your order.


Bound in Stitches offer a wide array of quilting kits, fabrics, Block-of-the-Month programs, books, patterns, notions, and giftware.  We realize there are times that you want to quickly find a product.  Our "Search" navigation section provides a quick solution to finding what you are looking for.

From any Bound in Stitches page, our "Search" navigation section can be found at the top of each page.  Enter a key word to assist in your search such as a product name or color name, or other specific product characteristics such as batik, Block-of-the-Month, or sewing machine needles.  "Search" will display the products that we have available that include the key word you entered.


Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory is very important to Bound in Stitches.  Items that appear on our website are available for purchase, however sometimes we may deplete our inventory completely.

Temporarily Out of Stock or Backordered Items
If a product is out of stock when you place your order, we will notify you immediately by email or telephone.  We will do our best to provide you with an estimated date of when the product will be in stock once again.  Anticipated delivery dates are, at times, dependent on issues beyond our control and are subject to change.  Backordered items are shipped as soon as they are available.  You will not be charged for any time until it has been shipped.  Please notify us by email or telephone should you prefer to cancel a backordered item.

Orders are processed within 48 business hours of order confirmation.  Ordering requiring priority shipping will be processed the same day if received prior to 1 PM, central standard time, Monday through Friday.    
Accepted Forms of Payment
Credit Cards
Bound in Stitches accepts MasterCard and Visa.  While placing your order, you will be prompted to enter your credit card number, expiration date, verification code from the back of your card, and your name as it appears on the credit card. 

Bound in Stitches believes in privacy and security and wants to make sure you are in possession of your credit card when placing your order.

Personal Checks
Bound in Stitches accepts payment by paper check for accounts drawn on banks within the U.S.A.  If you prefer to mail a check for your order, please leave a note in the comments section of your order form and choose the "Check" payment option during your online checkout.  Items will be shipped after payment is received and your check has cleared the bank.  Please allow a minimum of seven banking days for your check to clear.

In accordance with applicable law, Bound in Stitches currently collects sales tax in the state of Minnesota.  Sales tax is applied to the total amount of your order, including shipping charges. 

No sales tax is charged on the purchase of Bound in Stitches Gift Certificates.  However, purchases that are paid for with Bound in Stitches Gift Certificate will be charged sales tax where required.

No sales tax is charged on the purchase of Bound in Stitches Classes.

International order (outside of the US) may be subject to customs duties and taxes.


It is Bound in Stitches desire to fulfill every order that is placed on our website.  However, there may be issues that arise requiring us to cancel an order.
Cancelable situations include:
  An item that has been discontinued
  Customer sends an email requesting us to cancel an order
  The billing and/or shipping address is invalid
  Payment information can not be processed
  Duplicate order received
When a cancellation occurs, Bound in Stitches will notify you with an email confirming the status of the order and the reason for the cancellation.    

Bound in Stitches offer FREE gift wrapping with any purchase!  Please telephone or email us with your request.  All items will be gift wrapped in a beautiful package.

Coupon discounts apply only to regularly priced merchandise.  Clearance and sale items are excluded.

When you register for any of our Block-of-the-Month Programs, it is understood that you are registering for the entire program.  We will abide by this policy and prepare a kit for you each month with the understanding that you will remain in the program for the duration.  If you must cancel out of any block-of-the-month program there may be a cancellation fee.

We require a credit card number on file and will charge your card each month for the monthly cost of your program plus shipping and handling.  Programs vary, please read each program for length of program and associated shipping and handling costs.  Block-of-the-Month registration fees are non-refundable.

All block-of-the-Month start dates are tentative and may change due to delays in fabric shipments, pattern shipments and participation.

Shipping Policies    

Our goal at Bound in Stitches is to ship your order within 48 hours.  Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays.  We ship by US Postal Service Priority Mail, US Postal Service Parcel Post or by UPS depending on the ship-to address, our location, and the weight of your order.

The shipping displayed on your order summary will be only an estimate.  Our experience has shown that UPS and the US Postal Service provide a wide array of shipping options to most U.S. and international locations.  It is our goal to process and ship your order efficiently and cost effectively.

UPS can not deliver to post office boxes.  Bound in Stitches does not ship C.O.D.

International Shipping & Handling Fees
Please Note: We are not responsible for the receipt of international shipping. We send our international packages via the least expensive method but if a customer wants tracking or insurance they need to request it from us and will be billed at the applicable rate. If tracking or insurance is purchased and the package is not received we will assist in the tracking request but we will not be responsible for the receipt of the package.
We ship Global Priority Mail to all countries that are on the Global Priority system. A Global Priority Mail shipment to Canada, Mexico, and to all other countries is billed at actual shipping costs. In most cases, Global Priority Mail is less expensive than surface mail and will arrive in approximately one week as opposed to 6 to 8 weeks surface. Shipments that are over 4 lbs or will not fit into the USPS large flat rate envelope will be billed as quoted by USPS.
Shipping prices to non-Global Priority Mail Countries can vary widely. Please specify when ordering whether you want surface or air shipping. Shipping charges will be billed as quoted by the US Post Office.

How Are Shipping Charges Calculated?    
At Bound in Stitches, we try to keep shipping costs down to the minimum. Our shipping charges are for shipping & handling, meaning not only will you be charged for the actual cost of shipping your order, but for the other costs associated with shipping your order. These costs include but are not limited to: postage fees, envelopes, boxes, packing materials, tape, labels, equipment necessary for processing your orders (scales, software, dedicated printers etc.), labor to process and package your order. These are just some of the costs directly associated with shipping your orders in a timely and cost effective manner. Please note that shipping rates quoted on your order may not be the actual shipping cost, as we will manually adjust for any considerable differences. For example, if ordering just one pattern, shipping is quoted at $6.95, we adjust that accordingly and you can assume one pattern will not ship for more than $3.95. Discounted Sale Items    
Shipping costs for discounted items will be figured according to the full price of each item, and not the discounted price. Our web store figures shipping and handling according to the dollar total of the order, and we cannot change this. Thus, when discounted items are ordered, we will adjust shipping costs upon billing to reflect the non-discounted prices of these items.    

Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to Bound in Stitches.  All orders are inspected twice before shipping. You must notify Bound in Stitches of any discrepancies in your order within 30 days.  Please contact our customer service line at 320-255-9021 prior to returning your order.  We would like the opportunity to personally understand the reason for the return, saving you time and effort associated with repackaging and returning your order.

All Sales from our Clearance Categories and all Special Orders are final. No returns are accepted. Club memberships and Block-of-the-Month registration fees are non-refundable.

Upon pre-approval, Bound in Stitches will refund/exchange an item:
  If Bound in Stitches shipped you an item in error
  If the item you ordered does not meet your satisfaction and the order was shipped within the past 30 days.
  If the fabric is found to be defective.  Fabric cannot be returned if it has been laundered, cut or stitched.
  All returns must be in the original condition and packaging and have no smoke odor to them.
  If the approved return is accompanied by the original packing list.
Bound in Stitches will not refund/exchange an item:
  If the return has not been pre-approved
  If the product returned has been altered
  If the product is a book, pattern, or kit that includes a pattern (due to copyright issues)
  Cut yardage cannot be returned
Returns will be refunded to the account used to complete the original order.  We will credit your account only after acknowledging receipt and upon inspection and approval.  If you are returning a gift, we ask that you comply with all the refund/exchange requirements listed above to receive a certificate to exchange your item for another Bound in Stitches product.
Bound in Stitches Special Note:
Shipping charges for the original order and the return shipment are non-refundable unless Bound in Stitches sent you an item in error.  All packages must be sent prepaid.  We do not accept C.O.D. deliveries.

Account Profile    
The first time you make a purchase you will Create an Account.  Once you have created your account, you will need to remember your login id and password to access your account information for future purchases.  If you forget your account password, you may have it emailed to you from the account log-in page. 

When you visit the store to make future purchases, go to the My Account page and log in to use your saved shipping and billing information in the check out.


If you have forgotten your password when you established your account, press "Forgotten user name and password" on the My Account page.  We will send you a confidential reminder of your saved password.

So that we are able to get your purchases to you in a timely manner, please let us know about any changes with your mailing information or credit card.  We provide an option to make updating your billing information faster and easier for you.  Just click on the "Update Account Profile" and make the necessary changes.  It is safe, easy, and free of charge!

At Bound in Stitches, you have the ability to add products to your personal Wish List.  Your Wish List is like a temporary Shopping Basket.  You can email your Wish List to your friends or use it to gather the products you really want to purchase, but are not ready to yet.  You may also use this option if you have to leave our website before completing your purchase.  By storing your products in your Wish List you can quickly transition them at a later time into your Shopping Cart.  Our Wish List is easy to use!
How to Use our Wish List Gift Registry
Select the items you want into your shopping cart, then select Save Cart "Wish List".    
Enter your email address and the email address of the person you want to send your Wish List to along with a    
The contents of your cart will be saved with an ID Number that will then be emailed to both of you.     
You (or your friend) will be able to retrieve the contents of the wish list by returning to the site and clicking    
on "Checkout".  Just insert the wish list ID Number from your email and the contents of the cart will reappear like magic!    


Bound in Stitches is pleased to offer a 60-Day Lay Away Plan on orders of $75.00 or more (excluding Block-of-the-Month Programs).

Bound in Stitches Layaway Plan
  Customer agrees to pay 3 installments over 3 consecutive months.  Shipping charges and sales tax (where
  applicable) are the responsibility of the customer.
  Initial charge of 1/3 the total amount due from order total is immediately charged to customer's credit card
  and items are set aside for customer.
  One month (30 days) later the 2nd month installment will be automatically charged to customer's credit card.
    Finally, on month 3 (60 days), we will charge the remaining balance, and ship package to customer.
  At anytime during the layaway program, the customer may request (via email) that we finalize the order.
Bound in Stitches Layaway Policy
  Customer agrees to purchase merchandise with three payments within a 60-day period. 
  The payments will be automatically generated by Bound in Stitches with your on file credit card information.
  Customer must have valid credit card information, mailing address, phone number, and email address with
  initial order.
  Merchandise will be shipped after receiving final payment.
  Layaway merchandise will be cancelled and merchandise returned to stock for any unpaid payments.
  Once an order is placed on Layaway, it cannot be modified or cancelled.
  All Layaway sales are final.  Once the customer commits to the merchandise on layaway, he/she is responsible
    for the remainder of the balance.
  All deposits are non-refundable, non-returnable.
  Bound in Stitches offers this service with no fees, set-up charges or interest.  This is one of our many ways
