Block of the Month Guidelines

Your Block of the Month Store!  

At Bound in Stitches we strive to offer you many wonderful Block of the Month programs.  We carefully select each Block of the Month with you in mind.  From simple to complex, our programs feature beautiful projects you'll enjoy creating one block at a time.  Whether you enjoy traditional piecing, traditional or raw edge applique, paper piecing, embroidery, or other methods, we strive to help you expand your achievements in the great art of quilt making!

Block of the Month Guidelines

Registration
When you register for any of our BOM (Block of the Month) programs, it is understood that you are registering for the entire program.  We will abide by this and prepare a kit for you each month with the understanding that you will remain in the program for the duration.

Registration Fee
All of our BOM programs have a non-refundable registration fee.  When you register, this guarantees us that you want to be a part of the program and are committing to do so.  

Monthly Fees

Monthly Fees

Beginning the first month of your program, and through the duration of it, you will be automatically charged the monthly amount stated for the particular BOM for which you registered for plus shipping and handling fees.  Sales tax will also be collected, when applicable.  You will receive an email confirmation once your credit card has been charged.

Billing Date
Each BOM program has a scheduled date during the month.  The program will be billed on around the same time each month once it begins.  If you would like to know when you will be billed, please refer to our BOM Calendar each month for the exact date.

Block of the Month Fabric Placement Guide
We realize that fabric placement is an important part of your success in creating your BOM quilt.  To help you in the process, we offer BOM Fabric Placement Guides showing the fabrics included in your kit and a placement reference in a downloadable PDF format. 

Block of the Month Calendar
Check the BOM Calendar to see when your program will be shipped each month.  This calendar is updated monthly.  Dates are subject to change in an event that the fabric for the program was not delivered on time.

Shipping and Handling Fees

Shipping and Handling Fees
We make every effort to keep the shipping & handling fees at a minimum.  Shipping and Handling fees may vary depending on the size of the kit.  If you prefer to pick up you monthly kits at our store, you may choose this option when you checkout online or you may let us knowing by contacting us.

Our general Shipping Policy, including information about shipping addresses, packages marked as delivered, lost or delayed shipments, shipping insurance, and carrier claims, is available on our website. We encourage you to review it before your first shipment.

Participation Limits and Cancellations

Participation Limits
With each of our BOM programs, we only have a designated number of participants that may register for the program.  Likewise, we need a certain number of participants to offer the program. 

Store Cancellations
If for some reason we are unable to offer a program due to a lack of interest for the program or if the fabrics were discontinued, you will be given the following options for your paid registration fee:

  • Transfer your registration fee to a different BOM program
  • Store Credit
  • Refund* 

*Refunds will be given in the same manor in which the registration fee was paid.  Credit card payments can only be refunded within 15 days of payment.  If paid for by a check, it may take several days for your check to clear our bank.  Once it has cleared you will receive a check from us for the registration fee.

Cancellations
We understand that sometimes things happen in life that are unexpected.  There may be a reason that you may need to cancel.  Should you have to cancel, please contact us right away.  Please note that the Block of the Month registration fees are non-refundable.  Additional cancellation fees may apply.
