Turning Leaves

It’s a crisp cool morning as we pack the car to head north for the weekend.The smell of Autumn is in the air. The further north we drive the more visible the vibrant colors be - come. We arrive at the cabin and it is so spectacular it takes your breath away. This is my favorite time of the year. The weather is still nice enough to take long afternoon walks deeper into the woods. Towards dusk we will witness the deer coming down to drink by the water. It is so quiet and tranquil. There is nothing better than these weekend trips .
